Elissa has a way of finding JUST THE RIGHT THING for me--things i would NEVER pull out, and some of my favorite items have been hand selected by her.  She has an eye for shape, color, and for breaking us out of our ruts (who knew I was wearing too many bag shaped items??? She did!). When I wear the clothes she’s picked out for me, I feel amazing, and honestly, get so many unsolicited compliments! I feel a little more bad-ass when I wear the items she finds. The price is great--and if I try, I can take the inspiration from her style sense for me and find great stuff for myself too. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Elissa has a magic touch- in the thrift store, in my closet, and on the phone.  She is my go-to person whenever I need to find or pare away clothes.  I have never found anyone else with her uncanny ability to truly see you. Elissa came over to my house and kindly helped me cull my closet. Her gentle encouragement and humor helped me loosen my grip on items that had stayed (untouched) in my closet for years.  In no time at all, we had filled 6 shopping bags with clothes.  To my surprise, Elissa also rearranged the items in my closet making it a visual treat to enter that space each day.  She helped me see new ways to pair my clothes, breathing new life into old items. Once she gets to know you, Elissa can apply this magic from afar.  

Elissa is a genius!  Her eye for potential  and her ability to find the chic needle in the thrift-store haystack is remarkable. I get easily overwhelmed when shopping and usually head for the door after a few minutes.  But Elissa makes it so much fun! She is able to sooth me through my angst and impatience with levity and grace. She always finds things that look great on me, and I always come away with the feeling of “Score!”  Thanks, Elissa! I hate shopping for clothes, especially at thrift stores—unless I’m shopping with Elissa Berrol. She has the unique ability, patience and enthusiasm to go through countless racks of other peoples discards and find the treasures. I’ve experienced this numerous times over the past couple of decades when I’ve treated myself to a shopping trip with this gifted thrifter. When I try to pick things out myself, the results are disappointing if not disastrous. How about this top? Nope. What about this sweater? NO! Better to sit back and wait for Elissa to come to me with the perfect additions to my wardrobe. Shopping for clothes can be a burden and a chore, but it can also be really fun if you have Elissa Berrol helping you.
